Job Title:  Engineering Associate 

Job Description:

• New Product Development
  - Gather research and conduct evaluations of potential product  
     additions
  - Assist in the development and engineering of new products
  - Discover and decipher manufacturing methods used for new products
  - Assist in developing Manufacturing/Production Guidelines for each
     new product addition
  - Design calculation forms to determine product costs, margins, etc   
     
  
• Manufacturing/Production
  - Assist in developing QA/QC procedures, as well as daily monitoring of
    QA/QC procedures
  - Monitor daily manufacturing for scheduling, materials, completion, etc
  - Record the status of individual customer orders as they are 
    manufactured
  - Efficiently analyze and diagnose any quality issues
  - Work directly with the manufacturer to quickly and effectively solve any
    quality issues
  
  
• Logistics
  - Analyze inventory levels on a weekly basis
  - Assist with shipment scheduling, documentation, clearance, etc

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Degree in plastic engineering or related topic preferred)
• Skilled in detailed calculation work and multiple data analysis
• Advanced knowledge and experience building Excel calculation forms
• Full Time/Part time accepted
• Graduate Student Interns welcome

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluent in Chinese language (Oral and Written)--not required
• Internet research skills
• Basic knowledge of Biomedical Sciences
